Malayala Masam Chingam Onnu

Apologies for writing in malayalam..the situation is demanding. Today ..the start of another year to malayalees. Thiri muriyathe ulla mazhayum, Karuthirunda manavum ellam aduthavattom kaanum vare vida paranjirikkunnu.
Earlier it was the farmers who celeberated the arrival of chingam...Now it s hard to see a farmer here in kerala. So let us dedicate chingam 1 to our very own "Malayalee Manka"
She looks awesome atleast today. Chandanakkuriyum thottu , kasavu saariyum uduthu ..she s very well beyond expectations..even an average looking girl ll be absolutely stunning when she s in a saree. May be it s my basic instinct that forces me to think like that..i love traditional dress. I wonder why all girls are crazy bout western stuff? cos change is the only thing that ll not change.hehe
thanks to all(to whomsoever it may concern) for giving me such a wonderful traditional background..am proud to be a mallu

Swathanthratha Divas...

During my short span of life(upto this day) i ve seen a lot of independence days.. infact bout 23..
Some of them I still remember and some completely wispy. Is there anything special about this one?? nay...It s as simple as that..
Earlier i used to go to my school to attend flag hoisting ceremony and after the ceremony teachers distributed a lot of sweets....mmm may that was the reason i hardly missed any independence day function those days. Today I wanted to be the same old child...dashing towards the school along with my friends and with "Thirangas(Tri colours)" pinned to the shirt. As a child, the reality , the truth i knew about India was very abstract and i could hardly find anything other than prosperity and joy everywhere. Thanks to my parents hardly earned money(they owe it to their sarkari jobs)! Today as a grown up human brain I can see not only the joy and the prosperity but the darker side of the truth also.
Today,
I see massive skyscrapers across the street, at the same time i can see the despondent slum dwellers.
I see May-Bach's and Rolles Roys speeding through the high speed corridors, at the same time I see the bumpy and dusty paths of remote villages.
I hear rocking music coming from a "weekend hotspot" at the same time i hear the cry of hungry street children.
I see children clad in neat uniforms taking independence day oath at the same time i see feeble hands washing metalwares in hotels unaware that today is their independence day too..Are we really ready to vociferate that we are the next super power? One mustnot be this much demoralized in the eve of Independence day. I take it for granted.Today we should try to forget or rather forgive all the fallouts that took place in India in the post independence era.So I wish to become that carefree child again......

I wish a warm Happy birthday to the Independent India...
of course she s lovely ..she s beautiful ... and she s everything to all of us...
